Pet care experience
I was born into an animal-loving family and I have continued to instill this love for animals in my own children. I have had a menagerie of animals all of my life. At the young age of 12, I started walking the neighbors' dogs and going to their houses when they were out of town to feed, water, and walk their pets. In college, I worked part-time in several different veterinary clinics. I am still very well connected to the veterinary world so if I am unsure of something involving my pets, I am able to reach out to get an answer pretty quickly. Over my lifetime of 40 yrs. I have had at least 20 dogs, 10 cats, several rabbits, horses, chinchillas, guinea pigs, hamsters, and a few reptiles (but no snakes).

I have a 1/2 acre that is fenced. I have 3 dogs- a Newfoundland, Black Lab, and a Beagle. All of my dogs are rescues. I know that I rescued them but as cheesy as it sounds, most days I feel like they rescued one. Each of them has their own personality, which I love. Since I work from home the majority of the time, I am home more than most people. My dogs are usually always by my side when I am home. My dogs love to jump on the bed or couch and get snuggles. I would treat your animals the same way I treat mine- with love and snuggles.

A typical day
I love to throw the ball with my black lab. He doesn’t always return it but he tries. Since we live out in the country, I will sometimes take my dogs to downtown Versailles for a walk.

In my full-time job, I work from home for 3 days/wk and then I go to the office 2 days/wk. I have some flexibility with my full-time job to come and go.
