I have an almost 2 year old cairn terrier mix of my own so I'm used to handling a semi-high energy dog :) Peanut is only 20 lbs so I prefer to care for dogs under 40 lbs. just to keep her comfortable with the situation. I live in an apartment but have a fenced in area at my apartment complex and I am close to a wonderful walking trail. I'm a young professional and live within 10 minutes of work so I can definitely run home on lunch breaks if needed. I work from 8am-4:30pm during the week and I normally do not go home during the day as my dog is crate trained and is now transitioning to staying out during the day.
