Fenced yard with doggy door!
Pet care experience
I own my home and have a fenced in yard with a doggy door out of the kitchen. I have 3 dogs, all of which are very high energy heeler and border collies mixes that were rescued. I also have a cat, but she stays upstairs if need be with a gate. I work 3 (12 hour) shifts a week, leaving 4 days open I can be home full-time. We go to the local dog parks multiple times a week, and walk around my quiet neighborhood, but I will run/bike with your dog if you prefer. I was a medic in the military for 10 years and I’m an ER nurse, so I have 12+ years of medical experience. I LOVE animals, always have since I was little and look forward to meeting and playing with your furry friends!

Katie is an exceptional dog owner, she’s always gone above and beyond to make sure her pets have the absolute best life they can have. Her energetic and fun loving personality will ensure that any dog she is watching will get quality attention. She’s very resposible and has experience caring for many different breeds of dogs. Her personal dogs are two of the most well trained and happy animals I’ve ever seen, they adore her and spend countless hours at the dog park socializing with other dogs. I’d recommend her for any dog walking/sitting job out there.
Katie and I have been best friends for 22 years. Katie has always loved animals. She is responsible, caring and treats any dog she sees like her own. Since moving to Texas, she has spent a lot of her time training her own 2 dogs and giving them the undivided attention they sometimes need. She will be a great caregiver for any dog; young or old.
Katie has been an a absolute life saver in helping me with gunner. She is patient, caring and compassionate as he is a puppy and needs the extra attention. I use Katie weekly as she is able to provide the 1 on 1 attention he needs and is cheaper than a doggie daycare. I would recommend Katie to anyone!

Are they familiar with a doggy door? Is your pup comfortable in a crate/kennel? Are they socialized with other dogs/cats? What is their favorite game/toy? How far do they walk and or run? What is your dog's feeding schedule? Does your puppy have any allergies? Do they take any medications? Does your pet suffer from separation, thunder or firework anxiety? Are they trained to potty outside? Safety is of the utmost importance when your pup stays with us. For the health and safety of our furry guests, dogs must be spayed or neutered (if over six months) and current on vaccinations for Rabies, Distemper and Bordetella (canine cough). Your pup must be in good health, flea/tick free, and friendly to all dogs!
A typical day
I live in a large development with sidewalks, at least 3 miles of walking area. I will run or bike with your dog if you prefer. I have a fenced in yard to play in as well! There is a public dog park 5 miles away that we visit frequently. I’m open to any games your pet likes to play, mine are mostly into fetch with different balls, toys and frisbees.
