I’m Katie and I became a Rover Pet Sitter because I love animals. I can’t remember a time when I wasn’t covered in dog hair, ha! From a young age I have been caring for pets from all shapes and sizes. At one point our family owned two small alligators (ask me about it!) I grew up loving on dogs, cats, bunnies, hamsters, you name it. I have two dogs that I love immensely and they no doubt keep me on my toes with their spontaneous and electric personalities. I’ve lived in the Little Rock area for three years upon graduating from Harding University in 2016 with a BA in Public Relations. I am currently in the process of becoming a realtor and I’m super excited! I wanted to join Rover because I think every animal deserves the care of someone who knows and understands what it’s like leaving their fur babies, especially when they have specific needs. It can be challenging to trust someone with your little guys and I know the feeling. My goal is to care for yours the way I care for mine and to make sure that no nose goes without kisses and no back goes without scratches (consensual of course). I can’t wait to meet you and your pet! 🐾
