I've had a love for animals ever since I was a little kid. Growing up, I had two border collies, a cat, and more gerbils than any normal person probably should own. In college, my (now husband) and I adopted a Pygmy African hedgehog. We named him Archie. He was our lil bud through college and graduation, my first job, moving back home, getting married - our first apartment and eventually when we bought our house. We have a 5 year old Corgi named Piper (she's the alpha for sure), and a 6 year old Australian Shepherd named Loki. They are polar opposites but love each other so so much and always are together - playing, sleeping, rolling in the grass, etc. Additionally, I previously did Rover Boarding a few years back. We closed our account as we found it made our two dogs uncomfortable to have new dogs come into our home and stay for short periods. Our house is also our dogs home, so we didn't want to cause any stress on our dogs or any visiting dogs. With that said, I can offer drop ins to your home, house sitting, etc. I just will not be reactivating boarding. Over the times I did Rover boarding, I had experience with younger dogs, nervous or anxious pups, older dogs that may need extra assistance, wild & rowdy playful pups, those that want belly rubs or their ball thrown nonstop, etc. I am more than happy to follow any requests or preferences you have - I've seen it all. I even had one person who said their dog liked to drink from the bathtub faucet and that I should turn it on at a certain time as that was their routine. I was more than happy to send them back pics and videos of their pup treating it like an indoor hose. It was too funny and I know it made the owners happy to see their fur family comfortable in their environment and routine.
