Our home offers a low-key place for small dogs to stay and relax. Dogs are welcome on furniture and in beds at our house. A fenced in yard provides a safe environment for your dog to enjoy the sunshine. We live in a slow-paced neighborhood perfect for dog walking. While staying with us your dog will get a walk each afternoon and healthy treats from our kitchen. We have a three-year-old pug named Peach that enjoys resting, snacking and playing with her toys. She is sweet, fun and loves other dogs. Our home is ideal for boarding adult or senior dogs but we are happy to host any small dog that is friendly with other dogs. I work a few miles from home and will come home every four hours to let visiting dogs and Peach out for bathroom breaks. I take my lunch hour at home, so your dog can spend lunch resting on my back porch or playing in the fenced in yard. Weekends are spent at home so your dog will be free to come in and out of the back yard as it would like and will enjoy lots of love and attention from us. I have boarding experience with a Jack Russell Terrier that visited our home on weekends for several years. The Jack Russell, Ann was a senior dog at sixteen years old so I have experience taking care of elderly dogs and Peach gets along well with seniors. I can administer oral medication to your dog as needed. Our home is 1.4 miles away from the UGA College of Veterinary Medicine 24 hr. Emergency Clinic should your pet need to receive medical care. We would love to host your fur baby!
