Hi! I'm Katie! I'm a PhD student at the Wharton School at UPenn with a flexible schedule. While I've worked with animals of all kinds, I'm currently offering boarding in my home for cats. I’ve worked with animals of all ages, sizes, and personalities - and all have been an absolute joy to care for (feel free to take a look in my photos for some of the great memories with past Rover pets)! I've pet-sat for friends and family for over ten years; I joined Rover within the past four years and have loved my experience.

Katie was great! She stayed with our dogs while we were away for a long weekend. Lots of frequent updates on how the dogs were doing, and took great care of them
Katie always keeps me updated on her walks and how my dog is doing. My dog was suffering an immune disorder for some time and she kept me updated on her energy level and mood and how much water was in her bowl when she arrived, etc.
It was my second time working with Katie! As always, she is SO reliable, responsive, and thoughtful! She's definitely the go-to sitter when I'm away. You rock, Katie :)

One of my favorite aspects about Rover is building relationships with both neighborhood pets and owners! I can't wait to meet you and your pup/kitty! :) Regarding COVID-19, I am fully vaccinated and boosted and happy to wear a mask during any in-person interactions.

A typical day
* In my experiences, simply keeping a pet in close company in their own home while their owners are away can really ease any stress of separation. I try to spend as much time with them as possible, and provide any belly rubs or any kind of attention and companionship that keeps them content. I've really bonded with previous pets through little moments together! * I drive a spacious SUV, and I'm happy to use to take your cat(s) or dog(s) to their favorite locations. * If you have any grooming or bathing requirements, feel free to let me know.

Cats - I’m very familiar with cat care from caring for our family cat for many years (I have no pets at my current residence). My friends would describe me as caring, enthusiastic, and communicative. Some of my strengths include understanding relationships with pets, clear communication with owners, and adaptability. Dogs - I love both outdoors activities and simply lounging around the house and would love to care for animals on either end of the spectrum. I would love to devote my energy and attention to dogs that need walks, sitting, a play pal, or simply a companion to snuggle up or laze around with!
