Below is our in-home description, but if you'd like to have your dog in his/her surroundings (great for puppies and older or picky dogs), I'd be happy to come your way. My husband and I love animals... and in my quest to add to our pack (which he won't approve of permanently, boo)... I'm asking for some time with your lovable pup. We have a great home with a fenced in yard and love going for walks (short or long)...even a jog (if that's what you prefer). We have more dog beds than people beds (even though the animals always end up on the sofa) and a plentiful supply of treats and belly rubs!! Our two girls (Oakmont and Augusta) are rescue mutts (maybe some beagle/jack) and are pretty docile. Oakmont sleeps most of the day and Augusta loves a good game of tug or frisbee time. They offer a little bit of something for every dog visitor. They've played with everything from mini-dachshunds to corgis to labs and get along with every dog they've met.

Katie was fantastic! Her house was a great setup and Lucy had a lot of fun with her dogs. She came back worn out and happy.
I can't praise Katie enough; I would never dream of using another pet sitter after our experience with her. She is incredibly warm and compassionate, and our dog took to her instantly. We have a special needs basset hound who has glaucoma and is still recovering from several intense eye surgeries, including removal of one eye, and Katie not only confidently and capably administered her medications (topical and oral) during her stay, but she even accompanied us to the vet so she could fully educate herself about the particulars of our girl's situation and what warning signs to watch for in the event she had to deal with a glaucoma spike. She knew we were anxious to be away during what's still the recovery period, and she sent us constant updates, complete with photos and videos galore. It soothed us immensely to see how well our hound was doing; Katie treated her like a queen! When she wasn't luxuriating on one of the many dogs beds/dog-friendly items of human furniture, she was chewing a bone, sunning herself outside, or cuddling with Katie or her new friend (Katie has two sweet little dogs who help make any canine guest feel at home). Katie followed all of our special instructions with great care, and we knew that we were leaving our Selkie in the best of hands. I highly, highly recommend Katie's services if you're looking for someone who will treat your dog like her own; just please don't book her for when we need her! ;)
Katie is amazing! I have known her for 8 years as a fellow pet sitter, neighbor and friend. She always takes care of my two mutts while I am away. She is super fun and energetic and my dogs LOVE her. She is very reliable and trustworthy and sends frequent updates and pictures. I am able to totally relax and enjoy my time away knowing that my dogs are in excellent hands!

Must love female dogs and lots of attention. I have a very flexible work schedule and do crate both of my dogs when we both leave the house. I would expect your well-behaved dog to do just fine free roaming, or we could crate (whatever you wish). Is your dog a puppy or recently acquired? Please ensure that he/she is vetted and fully immunized to that all the dogs stay healthy. As for little one's, I prefer over 16 weeks to come to my home, crate/puppy pen trained, and potty trained (I totally understand that accidents happen, but want to be sure you're on the right path before we change up a puppy's 'home'). Younger than 16 weeks? Touch base and let's chat. It all depends on my schedule that week to ensure your pup gets the attention s/he deserves.
A typical day
Dogs that visit live our life. They are a part of the family and walk our neighborhood and sleep in our room (even in bed if that's what they're used to). Our two pups live time with visiting dogs. It's likely that my husband and I are home during the majority of daytime hours, so your pup will likely be hanging with one of us in the living room in the sofa or chair. If you'd like, I'd be happy to give guests a bath on their last day for an additional fee so they come home fresh and clean.
