I live in Delaplane on a small family farm with dogs, cats, horses, chickens, goats, etc, so I have grown up learning how to care for a variety of animals. I have spent time volunteering with the local animal shelter and SPCA, so I am very aware of the patience and compassion required when working with animals that are not my own. Last summer, I conducted an internship with the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services at the regional animal health lab in Warrenton. Veterinary Science is an interest of mine, so dog sitting on the side is a perfect summer job. I am home from college for the summer with a part time job, so I am very flexible when it comes to the needs of taking care of your pets.
