I was a vet tech for 10 yrs!
Pet care experience
I was a veterinary technician in VA for 10 years before we moved down here. I am able to help matain any medical needs while you are out of town or away at work because of my extensive vet tech. history. I can even help manage exotic pets like lizards, turtles, chickens, pigs and goats. My passion for animals is still within me. I feel by pet sitting i can fill that void and in return I can provide a well rounded experience pet sitting while enjoying your pets. I currently have 2 foster pets Jill and Knox, if your interested in adopting please let me know!
Reviews
Katie is a delight! ❤️❤️❤️
Excellent dog sitter. She gave ultimate attention to our 16-year-old Shih Tzu. She made all of us feel very comfortable at the meet and greet and I am very confident that she took excellent care of him. Definitely will use her again.

My two foster pets are well conditioned to me being out of the house. They both get the training and medications they need daily, Knox currently has a UTI, maintaining his meds is very important.

Information Katie C. would like to know about your pet
With my experience in a variety of breeds with all personalities it is always important to know about agression, even to the simplest of things like the over love for preferd toys. Any medical concerns are important, diabetic, previous exploratory (due to ingestion of toys), previous orthopedic issues (back, knees etc.) Last thing I would want to do is upset any of these issues and create a problem for your pet.
A typical day
It is important to continue the pattern that you have at home while your away. This means training, and pet care (brushing/ cuddles) while your away.
Services
Katie can host
Katie can watch in your home
Availability
I do work full time at a Dr's office and would make the time for them for twice daily visits, as I do with my own foster pets.
