Responsible and reliable, I specialize in spoiling your pup when you can't be there! I've gown up with dogs my whole life—all rescues! I love taking care of all sorts of pups. When your dog is vacationing with me, they'll have a furry friend to play with! My rescue Pom, Gizmo, loves to play and make new friends. He is 11 lbs. and about 2 years old. You pup will get lots of attention since I work from home. They'll have lots of supervision and a minimum of 4 walks every day. I live in North Center where there are loads of parks and green spaces to explore & sniff. I'll make sure your best friend is comfortable, safe, and stress-free during their visit. We'll have lots of fun together!

Katie was absolutely amazing with our dog Winnie!! She can be an anxious pup and Katie made her feel right at home. We got tons of updates to see how comfortable Winnie was and how much fun her and Katie’s dog Gizmo were having:). Winnie definitely has a new furry and human best friend! I would highly recommend Katie for anyone needing a dog sitter!
Katie is a superstar dog sitter! She is diligent and responsible, fastidious in following directions on feeding/meds/etc., and oh-so patient. In addition to our puppy, we have two cats, one of whom is a total jerk. But Katie has love even for her! Katie is great about play time and helps all of our animals feel loved while we are away. She's also excellent about updates - pictures and notes keep us informed but don't overwhelm us. We are so grateful that we can go away and sleep easy when we know Katie is on the job.
When I first brought my pup over, he totally embarrassed me by marking the furniture! I was falling over myself to apologize but Katie was so calm about it, she just cleaned up and laughed it off. She said, "we're dog people, dog people get it." That incident really sticks out in my mind as an example of how chill and loving she is. She accepted my little guy, even with his quirks, and she accepted ME too. When I was nervous about leaving him, she sent me reassuring updates and photos. Teddy was cuddled up with her and her husband Tony in no time and seeing that allowed me to totally relax and enjoy my vacation. He got tons of love and care. I would definitely recommend Katie to anyone! She is a true dog lover.
