Pet care experience
GETTING TO KNOW ME: Hi! My name is Katie & I'm 30 years old. As a baby, we owned an Akita, I received my first cat for my fourth birthday, & ever since then I've had some sort of animal or creature in my life! I personally own a Husky named Bella. She is my pride & joy! + the added addition of my husbands Spanish water dog name Hugo. We live in a one story ranch with a huge fenced in yard! On top of dog sitting, we help foster Newfoundland’s. So we are ready to take on any size dog. I love staying active & busy so I'm always ready to be on the move. I have a part time job that requires some of my time but the hours are extremely flexible & I can run home whenever needed + my husband works from home occasionally. I've been an animal sitter for a couple years now & have a lot of experience with different animals & ages. I once was called a dog whisperer & am proud to accept that name! Hope to be your sitter! Some things you should know: - I hate sitting around. I love being busy & active, like stated in my paragraph above. We will go on walks, runs, & lots of play time! Yay for tired pups! - I am here to help you & your pet/pets as much I can. I try my best to mimic everyone's routines so that no one gets stressed out. With that being said, they can sleep w/ us, lay on the couch, roam the yard, etc. We don’t mind ;) - You will receive lots of pics, videos, & updates. I personally love getting them when I am away so I hope you will too! - No stay is too long. We’ve housed dogs anywhere from a day to over a month. We enjoy the company! - My definition of "crate trained" : No accidents in its cage & does not hysterically bark while crated. - My definition of "house trained" : No accidents in the house & does not chew things up other than dog toys. - I always hold a meet & greet before taking care of your animal so I can get to know you, your animal, & to discuss what all you are looking for from me. - I am flexible and happy to answer any questions you may have! We are so glad we came across Katie’s profile on Rover! She has watched our two pomskies many times now and has been so great at providing updates while we are away. Our pups always get so excited when we pull up to her house! It’s reassuring to know they are in a comfortable home environment vs. traditional boarding options when we are out of town.
Katie was so wonderful with Rosie! She was very attentive to what Rosie needed to help her first visit go well. Katie has a huge fabulous fenced yard and her house indoors is also very dog friendly. We could tell Rosie really enjoyed her stay!
I would definitely recommend Katie she was a lifesaver and took care of my dogs for a month!
Thank you Katie for looking after Milo and Lolita! Appreciate you sending me updates and pictures. Both doggos had a ton of fun :)

A typical day
Lots of walks. We have a big neighborhood and live right by the Fall Creek Trail. The Trail also leads into Fort Ben! If your dog is up for a run, they can tag along if we were to do so! Our yard is also fenced & very big. Lots of room for zoomies!
