Katie is an incredible responsible and loving dog owner. She is obsessed with her family dog, a West Highland White Terrier, that lives at home. Katie is a recent graduate, so being away from home and her family dog is hard for her but she has found solace in her interaction with random dogs she meets in the city as well as frequenting the pound or animal shelters in order to walk dogs that have not yet been adopted. She has no reservation going up to strangers and asking to pet their dogs because of how much she can connect with dog owners as well as specific canine breeds. I personally have a 70 lb Labrador that is full of puppy energy, and who is powerful way beyond what she appears to have in strength. Katie can easily handle her on walks especially in situations where securing the dog is paramount i.e. coming in contact with other animals, busy streets, distractions etc. I give Katie a 10/10 for ability to control any dog I've seen her with and an 11/10 for how much she loves dogs and every other animal.
