I am an animal lover and have worked with dogs and cats both professionally and in my own home. I worked as a veterinary assistant for two years and am capable of giving medicine and caring for your pets. I am available mornings and evenings and most weekends. I love the outdoors and I enjoy taking my dog on hikes and getting out in nature. I also enjoy going to dog parks and letting my dog run around off leash and interact with other dogs. I have been dog sitting and taking care of my friends and families pets for years now and feel comfortable working with all different breeds. Katie was awesome and very caring with Sheba. She communicated with me before, during and after her visits. Unfortunately, Sheba was a bit sick and had several accidents, but Katie took care of her and the messes also. I will definitely book with her again! Thanks Katie!
Katie was awesome!! She did drop-in visits for my 2 babies while I was out of town overnight. She made sure to play with them and to send me updates and pictures - she even brought my mail in. Would highly recommend!

I have a large fenced in yard and a doggy door so your dog would have free rein of the backyard. I am also happy to walk your dog if you prefer. I love hiking and walking so we can go for longer walks depending on your dogs needs.

A typical day
I enjoy walking on the numerous greenways and trails throughout Roanoke. I also enjoy going to Carvin's Cove and hiking the trails there. I also enjoy going to dog parks where the dog can run free and play fetch, if they're inclined.

I am currently a graduate student and am not working so my availability is really open! I have classes every other Saturday but could still fit in a walk or visit before and after class.
