Katie has always been an animal lover. As a child she'd sit in the animal section of the library to read and brought many animal books home. We have two dogs and she is very good with them. She loved the Dog Whisperer and watched many of his shows and has one of his books. Katie has volunteered at a horse ranch for several years as well as rode and exercised a horse at another ranch. She dog-sat a German Shepherd for a family for a few weeks. Katie is honest, good natured, and can be trusted with other people's animals and belongings.

I approached Katie to watch my dog, a 3 year old German shepherd, for almost 3 months. I had grown up with Katie and knew she loves animals, especially dogs and horses. Although I hadn't talked to her for a few years, she was eager and willing to accept such a short notice job. She took excellent care of my dog, and he had an easy time adjusting to the new environment. I was very happy with Katie's eagerness to take care of him simply because she loved dogs, and I believe she treated him with the upmost care and kindness. When I came to pick him up after 3 months, he was extremely comfortable with Katie and her home and appeared happy and healthy. I would highly recommend Katie for anyone looking for a dog sitter, short or long term jobs.
