Katie has always loved animals. She has rescued a dog and a two cats and given them a wonderful home, a fenced in yard to run and play in, and consistent veterinary care. I gave two young dogs and Katie keeps them at her house overnight when we travel. She makes sure all the dogs get along and know where to pee and poop. She rewards with treats and redirects when dogs get fussy with each other. She feeds them separately and makes an effort to get to know how each dog responds. Katie does especially well with my dog that has severe anxiety. She wraps her tightly in blankets, gives her a cozy secure bed and keeps a calm environment. Katie will be a wonderful caretaker of family pets. The dogs will not want to leave her big backyard and loving home.
