Pet care experience
Hello! I am Katie and I am an experienced animal handler and caretaker. I have many certificates in animal behavior, cognition, and welfare, and have undergone several training programs. I have grown up with a mother who was a border/breeder for Britney spaniels and I have had pets all my life. I have recently begun dog training and have completed the national Fear Free Shelter program. I am also experienced in some basic pet grooming such as brushing teeth and hair, nail trimming, and bathing. I am currently being very selective in taking on a minimal amount of clients, so that I am not overwhelmed and can provide the best care possible for your pets. I look forward to talking to you and meeting your fur babies!

Katie was great. She showed up on time and spent 12 hours doing a number of activities that produced a day of fun for our 8 month old black Lab puppy. She obviously enjoyed the time with him and communicated well throughout the whole process. We would absolutely use her again.
Katie is excellent with our pets! They love her and are so happy to see her when she comes by. They've been so much better behaved since she started coming. She's so reliable, trustworthy, and respectful of our home too. We're so thankful to have found her.

I have my own elderly Bassett Maggie, a young bloodhound Jolene, and an older cat Cash, of my own. My husband and I have just moved from Fort Wayne IN and the trip with them was an experience to say the least.
