Pet care experience
In addition to over 10 years of pet sitting experience, I have also worked in veterinary hospitals assisting the doctors and vet techs. I am aware of common illnesses and injuries to look out for and can asses the pet to determine if veterinary help is needed. I have worked for the same family’s while pet sitting and can provide multiple references. The services I provide including walking, playing in the yard, feeding/refilling water, bringing in mail, watering both indoor and outdoor plants, and adjusting home security as need be (raising and lowering blinds, turning on lights, etc). I would be happy to discuss any additional services you may require! In addition to dogs and cats, I have years of personal experience with birds, fish, rodents, and horses. I have taken care of an 8 week puppy, a 16 year old Shih Tzu, and every age in between!

Katie did an amazing job on her in home visit with our cat. She was very perceptive and noticed our cats idiosyncrasies and spent extra time making sure he was comfortable with her. Went out of her way to text us photos and send details of her visit. Our first time using Rover and we are planning to book Katie for all of our in home pet needs!!!!!
Katie is a very reliable and responsive pet sitter! She is great with animals and goes above and beyond what we ask her to do. She offers to water the plants while she is taking care of our pets and communicates with us regularly. She also has experience medicating animals and has done that for us as well. She has been pet sitting for us for several years now and I would recommend her to anyone!!
Katie has been our neighbor and a "pet person" since elementary school! She has a cheerful, warm personality and is a very positive person. She has a great love for animals & such confidence with them that she started her own pet-care business when just a young girl. She is very trustworthy and has fed our animals, taken care of littler boxes and walked our dogs countless times. I didn't grow up with dogs, so I've learned a lot from her over the years. She was was a huge help when my husband surprised me with a new puppy! When we had to work late, I could call on Katie to step in and help feed the dogs and cat and walk the crazy pup on short notice. Our energetic dog is now 9 yrs old, but she still does the "Happy Dance" when Katie comes over to care for her. Even though now in college, Katie still has our house key, just in case we need her when she's home on break.
Katie was amazing! She sent many photo updates every day while I was gone. My pet was so happy and well cared for with Katie. I would highly recommend her. I plan to contact Katie for all of my future pet sitting needs.
