It is very important to know about any medical conditions, physical limitations or behavioral issues your dog or cat may have. I have worked with a lot of different breeds and temperaments and will tailor visits with all these factors in mind. My goal is to make sure your pet is getting what he or she needs in a safe, fun and relaxing environment.
A typical day
Every dog is different. I have some dogs who need a lot of physical exercise and I have some that really just want to check out all the smells in the neighborhood. Others would rather play ball in the backyard. I will work with you and your dog to find out exactly what they love to do so each visit is fun and enriching. The same goes for cats. Cats love a routine and can be wary of new people in the home. It is my goal to make sure that your cat stays in a routine while you are away, and regardless of whether they ask for attention or not while I am there, I want them to know that they can trust me to be there for them. Sometimes I just sit or lie on the floor, letting them know that I am there for them should they choose to seek me out. If your cat is gregarious and outgoing, rest assured I will provide them with a good play session using their favorite toys.
