If you're looking for a sitter, no need to look further. Katia is the best! We were first time rover-users and were naturally very nervous about leaving our 10-year old Maltese, Louie, with a complete stranger. Katia, however, made us feel comfortable from day one. First, she was very responsive - she was one of the first to get back to me after my initial inquiry and was equally prompt with subsequent communications. Second, she was very accommodating. She not only housed and cared for our dog, but she also kept our friend's dog, Sammie, a 10-year old Shih Tzu. In addition, she met with us (both owners and dogs) a couple of times prior to the stay without any frustration or annoyance. It was apparent to Katia that we were nervous and uncertain and she went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. Finally, we found Katia to be very loving and caring. She took to the dogs right away and was very affectionate and caring. This was evidenced during our multiple pre-stay meet-ups and by the daily pics we received. She sent us multiple pictures each day and with each pic we felt more and more at ease. Leaving someone as precious as your dog in the care of someone else requires a great deal of trust. And when using a site like this, it is often hard to establish trust in such a short amount of time. But Katia made that process easier. She was a great sitter, and we undoubtedly will use her again.

Katia was so great with Cody! She really understood the unique needs of Chihuahuas and was able to get my nervous doggie to warm up to her very quickly. I can tell she really loves dogs and is so patient and loving toward them. I was a little worried about leaving my boy for 10 days, but she was great at sending pics and keeping me updated which allowed me to fully enjoy my vacation. I'd love to have her watch Cody again next time I have to leave him.
