Pet care experience
I take dogs that weigh between 20 and 45 pounds. And I only take 1 (sometimes 2) dogs at a time. Home all day! No other job but Rover! What more do I need than lots of dog cuddles and kisses. Your pet will be a welcomed visitor and treated with love and respect. I have had dogs all my life. I have a fenced and secure back yard. My home is clean and flea free. You will receive texts and pictures of your baby every day to let you know they are doing well. Come for a Meet and Greet and see what it's all about! I do not take dogs in my home that growl, snap or bite. I also do not take dogs that are blind, deaf or have doggie dementia. It is not fair to these dogs to be away from home as they are totally disoriented. It is stressful for them and for me. These dogs need to be taken care of in their own homes where they can navigate in familiar surroundings. I will happily do drop-ins for you. Home full time! And I have a 65 pound sweet boy who loves to play! Can take your kids during the week and on weekends. Very flexible schedule! Safety is my number one! Making sure fences are mended, harnesses are in good shape. Feeding on schedule with only food and snacks from owners.

We brought Oliver, our 10 yr old Cavalier King Charles, with us on vacation to VB and had Kathy pooch sit him since the hotel did not accept pets. He requires 3 different heart meds, had just had staples removed from stitching him up after removing a cyst, and was on antibiotics from an ear infection that hit out of nowhere just before vacation. The hotel was non-refundable - if it was we would have canceled. Kathy was EXCELLENT!! She sent daily Oliver pics and let us know how he was doing throughout our stay. She even asked n washed his backside a bit from the effects of the antibiotics. Oliver never gave another dog the time of day - but he found good friends with Bubba n Winnie (her pooches). On the way back home, we stopped at a rest stop. A dog started barking - Oliver stood up with his paws on the door trying to see. He NEVER did that before, so being with her pooches really helped him. If you want a GREAT pet sitter, contact Kathy. You will not be sorry you did.
Kathy is great! She always takes such good care of our dog and her dogs play very well together.
Kathy is wonderful and took great care of my pup. I received routine updates and lots of photos of him playing and having a great time!
Kathy was amazing! First time using Rover and could not have asked for a better experience. She sent pictures and gave updates multiple times a day, felt comfortable and safe leaving my baby with her.

A typical day
I have my own very gentle Dachshund and a young Boxer/Malinois cross who is always up for a fun time. If your dogs like to play they can have a wonderful time. If they like to be left alone we can do that too. We take potty breaks in our fully fenced backyard as often as needed. if there is an accident in the house not one gets blamed.

Don’t work except for Rover. Available most of the time. Dogs can go out anytime the want. Plenty of toys to play with. All guests are fed separately and only what their parents provide.
