Pet care experience
Hi there, I’m Kathy. I am a pet parent to 4 wonderful boys; Max, Milo, Milton, and Murphy - a labradoodle, carkie, chiweenie, and morkie respectively. They are my world, as all animals are in my life. I quit the 9-5 world back in 2018 to follow my passion for animals - and build websites. :-) I started Kathy’s Pupper Doodles, a dog walking and pet service in 2019 here on Rover, and absolutely love it!! I have met so many wonderful fur babies and their amazing humans and it’s been a great experience. I work with cats and dogs of all sizes and breeds and have no hesitations. I offer Free Meet & Greets so that I can meet your fur family, answer questions, and of course, ensure I’m a good fit for your family. I now offer homestyle boarding, which I find better than kennels or small, impersonal rooms for your pups. Your fur baby will have the full run of my home, furniture, and a large fenced-in backyard at their disposal. Belly rubs and personal attention are plentiful here! **IMPORTANT: I do require that your 30# (or less) pups do a trial stay prior to your actual vacation so that he/she is comfortable in my home and it lets you know that they're a good fit and will have a nice relaxed stay when you go out of town. I schedule trial boarding nights on Saturdays; check-in is at noon and check-out is at noon on Sunday. Boarding visits after that, check-in is at 6pm and check-out is at noon...though I will work with you if you have conflicting travel plans. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions you may have, I'd love to speak with you and have the opportunity to spend time with your fur baby. :)

Kathy was great. Will definitely use again!!
I decided to hire Kathy after speaking with her on the phone and then meeting her in person. I couldn’t bring myself to board my dog Bella for a week and she sounded great. I was not disappointed! Kathy was awesome and kept me up to date with texts and pictures and sent me links to an app where I could see the route she walked Bella. Kathy even sat on the porch and under trees with Bella people watching and enjoying the sun. Kathy made being away from our Bells so much easier and let us relax and enjoy our honeymoon. Kathy gave us huge peace of mind knowing that someone was checking in on Bella who truly cared about her well being and treated her like the member of our family that she is. Bella had two accidents and Kathy cleaned them up and even brought some stuff from her house to make sure it was up. She also noticed that our dog may have had a bit of an upset stomach and made her some rice to help settle it. Kathy lives what she does and she will take care of your fur baby as if it were her own. I will never board my dog and I will most certainly use Kathy again when we travel. My experience with Kathy was exceptional and I know Bella misses her.
Kathy was absolutely fantastic with our precious fur baby! We highly recommend Kathy and Rhea can’t wait for another visit.
Kathy is wonderful with my dog Murphy! He enjoys seeing her and is always happy when she comes and visits! Her updates are the cutest and she is always timely when she visits!

All of my furry clients are my number one priority and I treat each of them as my own. If ever there is a health issue, an accident to clean up, or if the fur parent needs some particular advice, I attend to it all with the utmost care and attention to ensure that the pupper or fluffer in my care is comfortable and has a good experience with me, and is the center of attention - always! When caring for small dogs in my home, I always like to have a "trial boarding day

Information Kathy W. would like to know about your pet
I love all types of dogs and have no hesitations with any breed, I love them all!! However, it is always good to know what kinds of things may "trigger" your furbaby or if they have preferences of treats or other pets/animals...where to scratch them...does the mailman bother them, and things like that. I can go on and on about odd quirks my pups have, so it's always good to know your pup's preferences so we'll all have a super fun experience.
A typical day
Initially, I like to take your pup for a walk in his/her own neighborhood, subject to safety not being an issue (sidewalks, busy highways, etc). I always think this is super important in case the unexpected happens, I feel it's important they know their surroundings and know how to get back home. After a few neighborhood walks, I would visit local parks in your area for a change of scenery; though, if you have a nice fenced-in yard, I love a good round of fetch with my pooches too!
