I currently have a puppy of my own and she's about to be 8 months old. I usually would babysit my friends dogs when they're out of town. Their dogs ranges from Havanese to Pitbull. I used to take care of a husky and a shiba inu so I've had many experience with many breeds of dogs. I believe that dogs should be treated like lots of care with a balance of playfulness. Usually when I'm home, my puppy would be walked 3x a day and played with whatever chance I get. I don't believe any dogs should be locked up all the time. I know some people who just get dogs just to say that they have them but never truly taken care of them and to me that's not right.
