Hello, I'm Kathy. I love socializing with dogs and feel like I really understand them. When I'm with dogs, I feel natural, comfortable, and full of joy. I have lots of experience dog sitting and I have two cats of my own. I live with my boyfriend, who adopted a Pomeranian named Dash from the Pasadena Humane Society. He is a very fun and friendly pup. My family also has a Corgi named Toby, who visits from time to time. We love dogs in our family and spoil them with toys, treats, and lots of playtimes! I'm an empathetic, considerate, and nurturing person. I am very emotionally intelligent and have spent all my adult years caring for disabled family members, children at summer camp, students in class, and children I was hired to nanny. I care deeply about people and animals and love every dog I meet. I'm good at picking up on a pup's social cues and giving them lots of love and attention. Dogs are like people; they just want to be loved! In addition to dog sitting, I'm open to caring for cats and kittens. I have a litter robot in my home, and my cats are super sweet and easy-going. I like taking our dogs for long walks around our neighborhood or hitting the trail in my free time. I also like writing, sewing, surfing the web, and reading. Sometimes I bring a book to the dog park and get some reading in while my dog plays. Please note: I somewhat have an aversion to Japanese Akitas and similar breeds because an Akita had previously attacked my dog at a dog park. Dash gets three pee breaks, two poop breaks, and a 10-minute walk daily. I can fit your dog's schedule into his. My cats have an automatic feeder and a litter robot. A few times a week, I feed them wet food as a little treat. I have a fenced yard and a pet gate for necessary in-home separations. Our house has two bedrooms and a large living room, and we allow pets on the furniture. We are huge cuddlers.
