I try to be attentive to each dogs needs and their safety is my top concern. I have experience with high energy dogs as well as shy, timid dogs. I currently have 2 dogs (1 is a Senior) and the other is a Very High Energy Dog. Every day I spend time with my dogs doing activities like walking and hiking. I am pretty outdoorsy and active. And retired .....so my availability is good. I will spend most of the day and every night at your house with your pet while you are away. That is how I would like my Pets to be treated when Look for a PetSitter. For most of my life I have had dogs and cats as pets. So I have gained some experience. And each of those pets have taught me and left me with a little more knowledge than I had before. One of my dogs taught me that you cannot remove porcupine quills. They have barbs in the end. A trip to the Vet was necessary. I also have friends in the kennel boarding business and a friend who is a Veterinarian. They have both been wonderful resources over the years. I have been Pet Sitting for my dad & my brothers dogs for the last 30 years. I have plenty of experience, however I am new to Rover.
