I am 61 years old and have been sitting with dogs for the last 5 years. Our house is truly managed to please our own dog and her play-date mates. We have one 20 pound very friendly female dog that rescued us and changed our lives for the better. On most days there is at least one other dog here for a play date. We take safety and fun for all dogs as high priorities in our home. Our home has a very nice-sized back yard that has a tall brick fence and double locked gate We have pet barrier gates near our front door, which has a locked screened door as well (used when we have four-pawed guests in our home). Depending on our guests' and their humans' preferences, we generally take two walks a day at our local park or in our neighborhood and often take a ride in the car if it is too hot to walk. We take outings to PetCo and PetSmart when approved by our guests' humans. Dogs are always on leash for any walk or outing. Dogs are never alone in our home. There are two adults in this home that are home throughout the day. If one of us leaves for a moment, the other stays. Our dog has NEVER been left alone and we won't let your dog be left alone either! Our house is filled with safe dog toys that my dog likes to share with her new friends. And most importantly a dog will be loved on throughout their stay with us. If they need their tummy or ears rubbed, we got it! If they need to sleep in bed with us - GREAT! The more the merrier! There is plenty of attention and TLC for your beloved Furbaby in our home. We take no more than two dogs (and must be from the same family) at one time. So at any given time there is no more than three dogs (including my own) in our home.
