Dogs have always been a focal point in my life. I had the honor of raising a sweet pup named Canela from 10 weeks of age until we sadly had to say goodbye to her at the ripe age of 13. Luckily, we have 2 other pups to love on that we rescued in the past 2 years. One’s name is Eddie, a 14-year-old black-and-tan dachshund. The other is named Fiona, a 3-year-old white/apricot collie mix. They are my world. Anyone I meet knows how obsessed I am with dogs and as a result, friends (and even acquaintances) often reach out to me to watch their dogs. It would be a privilege to help you with yours!

Kathy (and her husband, Alex) was incredible. She followed all instructions to a T, and was very conscientious about safety. She kept me updated with multiple pictures and videos a day and never left me wondering how April was doing. She rarely needed guidance, but when she did she didn’t hesitate to ask for clarification or recommendations. I could tell that she and Alex truly loved April, and April loved them back. When I got home, April seemed confused that it wasn’t Kathy, which shows me what a constant Kathy was for her that April could rely on and expect her being there. April is glad to have me home, but I wasn’t worried for a moment that she was unhappy with Kathy taking care of her. Kathy and Alex have become a part of April and my family and we hope they’ll be involved in our lives for years to come.
Kathy took our dog Logan for a walk and did an amazing job. She is caring, thoughtful and you can really tell that she loves the dogs as much as their owners. Would highly recommend!
Kathy was amazing! Our dogs loved her so much and she was super communicative and sent lots of pictures and videos.

I have a fenced yard where your pup can roam freely if that’s something you’re comfortable with. I will take your dog on a walk with the utmost care and attention, making sure leashes are secured properly before a door is even cracked open. I will follow any instructions you provide me with to a T.

I would love to know how your dog is around both people and other dogs. I’d love to know their activities of choice and how they like to receive affection. I’d also appreciate knowing which behaviors you do not approve of and how I should respond if I witness those behaviors!
A typical day
Based on your dog’s personality and preferences, I will either play with them and their toys, snuggle up with them on the couch, or take them to a nice dog park to let out some energy!

Availability
My husband and I work from home so we have tons of flexibility both during the week and weekend. I am available for walks at pretty much anytime. I am also open to watching your pup at your home or ours (as long as they're friendly with our dogs!).
