Here to spoil your pup!
Pet care experience
I’m an animal lover who works from home with a flexible schedule and loves getting out daily for big walks. My family’s senior dog can only do short trips around the block, so I would LOVE to put my daily exercise routine to good use and help tire out a pup who needs the attention and stimulation. I’ve been around animals my whole life and am comfortable with all breeds and sizes. I’m also very experienced with cats. I have volunteer experience at animal shelters so I have the patience and understanding for different personality types and needs. If you have a dog with a lot of energy, I would love to take them out with me. And if you have a senior dog who needs attention and patience, I’m here to spoil them :) For sitting, since I have a flexible work schedule and only need my laptop, I’m always available to spend as much time as needed in your home with your dog. As long as I can connect to wifi, I’m good to go!

No breed preferences! I’m open to all types of dogs but it’s important to know things like food sensitivities, health problems, preferences, personality traits, if they can be let off leash, boundaries, any issues with other dogs, aggression, etc. I just want to make sure that your dog (and me!) are safe, comfortable, and happy. If you have a specific routine with your dog or are currently training them, please let me know as well so I can try to do the same. I don’t want to undermine any hard work you’ve put in to training!
A typical day
I love to do big hilly walks on the west side of Oakwood and go through all of the parks (Houk stream, Paw Paw park, etc.) Depending on what your dog enjoys, I also love playing ball, throwing frisbees, really anything to get them all revved up! If you have a senior dog, I can also do shorter walks and spend more time with them at your home. My family’s 16 year old Australian Shepherd went from playing ball 24/7 to now sleeping 24/7 but I think it’s still so important to stimulate them and keep them “young.” They’re at an age where they need more attention than ever!
