Pet care experience
I have been a Certified Vet Tech for 8 years and I have volunteered at various dog and cat shelters caring for animals in various different ways. I love animals of all ages and size. With my skill set, I am comfortable giving medications or caring for your pet with medical needs if necessary. I also would be happy to do various grooming procedures, like nail trims, brushing, teeth brushing, etc if requested.

Kathryn was a dog-sitter for my dog, Tilly, several times when I went out of town. I say “was” because sadly she’s moving. She was so sweet to Tilly and a big animal person. Whenever I left town, I was confident I was leaving Tilly in capable, loving hands.
Kathryn is amazing, we just needed someone to take our dogs outside due to my husband and I both unable to get home at lunch, and she went above and beyond. Our boys loved her immediately and one is usually very hesitant of new people. She even played a little fetch with them, and sent me pictures of them outside just enjoying the sun. Definitely will be asking for her help again!!
I would recommend Kathryn Wilder because of her background with animals and her compassion towards them. I would trust any of my animals with her.
There is no one I trust more to look out for my pets! Not only is Kathryn attentive and kind, she is also a certified Vet Tech and completely knowledgeable and equipped to care for a variety of dogs and their individual needs. Kathryn has helped me by looking out for my standard poodle and borzoi on several occasions and even given me advice on grooming and whether or not I should take my poodle to the vet when when he swallowed a sock (lol he’s an airhead sometimes). My pets are my family and it’s hard to leave them for any period of time but it’s people like Kathryn who give me peace of mind!

A typical day
I love to mentally and physically stimulate your pet, whether it is taking them for a long walk or playing fetch or with toys or doing tricks. I love being outdoors and finding new paths to take your dog and let them sniff and explore.

I currently work full time, but I can stop in to care for your pet during my lunch break in the middle of the day or before or after work.
