I have owned pets since I was very young and have dog sat for military friends during deployments before moving to Washington state. I now dog sit on occasion for one family and own two kitties.

Kathy was a great sitter for Max & Whiskers (and my tomato plants)! She was able to accommodate my last-minute request, reaching out to her less than a week before my trip. I had notes written down to remind myself of during our meet & greet, and she noticed right away and made sure I covered everything. She sent me daily updates and photos and was quick to respond to my messages. She also went above and beyond to clean and tidy up before I came home - there’s no better feeling than coming home to a space cleaner than I left it. I was more than impressed with Kathy and I’m certain I will be booking her again.

I currently do not offer boarding in my home because of my two skittish kitties. I am very respectful, in clients homes and make sure their fur babies are fed, and let out often. I really enjoy taking them on walks. I am open to light housekeeping and any other needs you might have to keep the household going while away.

I would appreciate knowing if there are any special needs for the dog beforehand, as well as any behaviors that might be dangerous to the dog or myself if a situation is presented.
A typical day
I really enjoy playing fetch with the dogs, Or playing chase. I also never tire of playing a good round of tug of war! I genuinely just love being outdoors and taking dogs on longer walks are my favorite weekend activities.

Availability
I work Monday-Friday as a Preschool teacher during the hours of 9-6 so I can come and care for your pets in the morning and at night. And my weekends are always open to same day jobs.
