Apart from being a life-long pet lover and owner of dogs, cats, fish, and more, my passion for pets is exemplified by my 5 years of experience as a Pet Expert for a pet retailer. As part of training for this position, I was required to be certified by U.C. Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in various courses including animal behaviorism and general animal health. In addition, I worked for several years at a "Doggy Day-Care" center, where I was responsible for the well-being of anywhere from 10-40 dogs of all ages, breeds, and personalities. I'm an avid out-door lover, and spend much of my free-time hiking, walking, and spending time outside, which is another reason why I love being a Rover dog-walker. Our pets are not only our companions, they are family. That is why it's very important to me that you feel confident that whoever is coming into your home and spending time with your beloved pet is trustworthy, experienced, and kind.
