Hello! My name is Kathryn, and I am currently living in the Twin Cities. I'm a current fourth year medical student at the University of Minnesota Medical School who is interviewing for Obstetrics & Gynecology residency programs right now. My schedule is extremely open until graduation in several months. I graduated from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL in 2014 with a degree in Education and Social Policy. My family is full of dog lovers, and I've always had a special canine friend in my life. I've had 3 West Highland White Terriers and a Scottish Terrier over the years. Currently, I own the sweetest 14 year old Westie named Emma and a 2 year old buff tabby cat named Jaime. Also, one of my favorite hobbies is volunteering to walk and play with dogs and cats at my local humane societies. I have walked a multitude of easygoing and difficult dogs. Whether your dog is a puller, barker, excited jumper, or hesitant with strangers, I've seen it all. I know how to work all collars and harnesses from prong collars to easy walkers to gentle leads. I am Pet First Aid and CPR trained. Not to mention I will be a surgeon delivering babies in the next year and think I'm a pretty fast thinker ;). Finally, I love to stay fit by jogging and doing yoga. Don't forget that I hail from the winter lands of Minnesota and would love to walk your pooch no matter what the conditions are this winter. I love the snow as much as your dog does. In addition, I am happy to care for cats and other animals. I will get to know your animals, their personalities and quirks, and how I can best care for them prior to any sitting/drop-ins/walks. I can guarantee that you can trust me with your furry friend, and I can't wait to meet them!
