Pet care experience
I have been taking care of rescued dogs since I was 12 years old. My dad and I have trained a couple of dogs. When I was growing up I had many different types of rescue dogs. My dad was a foster dog caretaker. That is how I learned to train dogs that had different backgrounds and helped them to become lovable and well-trained animals.

Kat is great. She arrived on time and did everything the dogs needed - even an extra walk. I’ve hired her for two more visits already!
I always call Kathryn first to request her to be our pet sitter/dog walker when we go out of town. On numerous occasions she has taken care of our three German shepherd dogs for us. You can tell that she is comfortable around animals as our dogs love her. Kathryn is a reliable, conscientious person who will follow all instructions that you leave for her. It’s nice to know that your pets are in good hands with Kathryn.
Dear Rover Team, We were so lucky the last few years to have Kathryn (Kat) look after our two Goldens, Sydney and Cooper. We live in Northern California and are bummed she has relocated to SoCal, and so are Syd & Coop! Kat is conscientious, caring, attentive, trustworthy and just a joy! I know she loves all animals but she just lights up when she sees Syd & Coop, and they always jump for joy (literally!) to see her. She has a wonderful bond with both our pups. Kat grew up with many pets and is very knowledgeable about how to care for a variety of animals. She is professional and thorough. Each time she would stay with Syd & Coop while we were away, she would inquire about how they’re currently doing and if there was anything new with either of them. We always felt confident that she would follow through with all of our wishes/requests such as how often to walk them, feed them and any special needs they might have at the time. She is very caring and calm, but also active and fun. Anyone would be lucky to have Kat look after their pet(s)!!
I have known Kat for 10+ years and her home has always been a loving, warm place filled with two and four legged friends alike. She has had numerous dogs and birds all of which she has cultivated a very nurturing environment for. Very dedicated to what she commits to, she is a consistent and reliable person in all aspects of her life.
