Pet care experience
Hello and thank you for taking the time to look at my profile. I started with ROVER in 2016 and simply LOVE what I do!! First and foremost, I am an extreme animal lover and have had many, many pets in my lifetime. I have cared for all different types of animals big and small since I was 12 years old (49yrs.) I have been a mommy to small furry mice all the way up to an "Off Track Thoroughbred" dapple gray horse name Stella, who belongs to my daughter Zoë but I love her just the same! I am the candy, apple, carrot lady at the barn. I also love birding and have been feeding many species of birds in my backyard for over 3 years now, and enjoy spending time photographing them. My husband always says that I care for the animals more than I care for him. Sometimes that is probably true but not intentional :) I have recently moved into the Venice FL area in August of 2018 and have been in "away mode" but I am ready to start again here in the Sunshine State. I take great pride in caring for your fur baby just as I would my own. I have looked after and cared for friends and families pets in their absence as well. I am kind hearted, playful, reliable, responsible and very well organized. Your fur baby will love being with me because I truly love and care for animals.

I care for your beloved pet just as you would. Schedules are kept the same as owners when it comes to feeding, potty breaks, walks, where and how they like to sleep at night, medications, treats, etc... Most importantly loved and cared for!
Information Kathryn P. would like to know about your pet
I would like the pet to be well mannered in the house. I would like to be told up front if there are any behavioral problems the dog may have, mainly aggression towards people or other dogs, problems with chewing or potty problems, digger or possible escape artist :). As for breeds, I LOVE them all! I am waiting on my first Grey Hound, Great Dane or Affie (Afghan Hound)
A typical day
I have a big semi-fenced yard (forestry fenced on 3 sides but open in the front). Most of the dogs I have watched are kept on leashes during potty breaks, where other have been allowed to free roam, (well supervised, of course). I will walk them as many times as requested and play fetch as long as they want. Trips to the dog parks and/or dog beaches if I am allowed.

Availability
I have 2 outside of the home dog walks that I do almost every weekday that keeps me away from home from 10:30am-1:30pm. Otherwise I am at home.
