RUNNING WITH YOUR DOG I can take your energetic dog (6 months or older) on a 3-5 mile run for an extra $5. Runs will get longer and faster as I get stronger—I doubt I can tire out a border collie, but I can try to put a dent in their energy! I can only do up to one run a day. Running is also subject to the predicted weather, prior bookings and my current health (i.e. the last time I sprained my ankle). We’ll use regular trails. Your pup will have plenty of water via a portable doggy bowl, and I’ll keep a close eye on them the whole time! GENERAL DOG-WALKING AND DOG-SITTING I’ll give your pup lots of love and make sure they're mentally and physically stimulated, and, overall, well cared for! I can walk your pup anywhere nearby, including any favorite hiking trails, dog parks or dog beaches. Each dog has different needs and will get their own care. And I'll be sure to send you plenty of pictures! PUPPIES I'm pretty unflappable with regard to puppy antics, especially when it comes to biting and landsharking—the pup'll get a firm "ouch!" and no play for a few seconds unless you have a system of your own! I can work within your training regimen on walks or at home, or I can help your pup get socialized by bringing her on different routes or to the dog park (if they're old enough, of course!). When housesitting, I'm not averse to crating puppies or enforced naps on a 2hr-1hr schedule or similar. Sleep is very important for them! You'll likewise get plenty of updates and pictures—whatever I can do to make your whole family feel relaxed and comfortable until you're all reunited.
