Pet care experience
Hey there, I’m Katie! I grew up with a variety of pets and farm animals, and have two dogs and two cats of my own. I trained my dogs in obedience and agility, and love to reinforce their knowledge while we are out hiking or lounging at home. I am educated in obedience and agility training and can offer those services as needed. I love to adventure, and know all the good local sniffing spots (aka trails)! I strive to make your pet as comfortable as possible during our time together, so their routine is not disturbed. I am able to administer oral and injected medication, and familiar with working with disabled/older pets, as well as younger animals who need more structure. Daycare guests must be comfortable with cats who act like dogs, have experience with other dogs in groups, and be up to date on vaccinations (Rabies + Bordetella/Kennel Cough).

Kathryn is the best! Cats warmed to her immediately and she gave them lots of pets and played with them. She was very conscientious and had a regular feeding schedule, cleaned litter boxes regularly, took out the garbage, recycled, and left the house immaculate! She also sent great photos and updates daily. Would highly recommend 🌟

Great fast communication with me every step of the way. Always on time and does great with the dogs. My husky Kane is losing his puppy fur and she help with some grooming of him. She will be our go to walker and sitting permanently. Thank you so much you've been a huge help.

I have a large grassy lawn surrounded by woods with trails I’ve built up. The area is very safe and rural, on a quiet road. If your pet comes to my house there is plenty of play time and relaxing on the gated deck, and snuggles with blankets and pillows. I like to use potty breaks as a chance to reinforce basic training commands or throw a ball/frisbee/whatever your dog’s favorite toy is!

Let me know if your dog has special needs throughout the visit, allergies/food sensitivities and preferences in the house. For example: my older dog won’t eat his dinner unless our exact routine is followed, and can’t jump into cars himself because he is blind on one side.
A typical day
I love walks in the woods, off-leash only if enough trust with recall is established. I have obedience and agility training gear and can run your pup through those as a fun way to engage their brains (which tires them out more than physical exercise can!). I have several quiet wooded trails of varying difficulty that I frequent.
