As a Rover sitter focused on cat care, I have an abundance of experience working with felines. This includes volunteering at Ollie’s Place and the ASPCA cleaning cat kennels, working the adoptions room, and socializing timid or young cats. I also have extensive cat ownership and cat sitting experience, some of which you can read about in my reviews. I am committed to providing excellent cat care and doing my best to maintain your cat’s routine while you’re away. This includes following your instructions for feeding, litter, etc and taking time on every visit to interact with your cat(s). I also aim to minimize your worry and will send regular updates and photos so you can fully enjoy your time away. Katherine has taken care of my cats several times and I feel lucky to have found her. She's been fantastic - responsible, flexible and has even been willing to deal with complicated and changing feeding requests. She's carried in packages, kindly dealt with key problems and kept me informed on how the kitties are doing. Plus, she managed to make friends with one of my cats who does not trust easily. That's priceless.
Kathryn was a fantastic cat sitter for our two cats! She was prompt with communication and proactive about setting up a meet & greet beforehand. She gave us great updates and photos after each visit, so we could see how our cats were doing. Although we missed our cats while we were away, we knew that they were in great hands with Kathryn and felt at ease knowing that she was doing an excellent job taking care of them! We'd definitely recommend Kathryn as a cat sitter.
Kathryn has been a great dog walker, especially when I get stuck at work and need a last minute walk! She is fantastic with my pup and even gives loves to my cat when he decides to come out.
Kathryn was very reliable and I could tell she cared about my cat like he was her own! It was my first time leaving my cat alone for the weekend and after meeting Kathryn before I left, I was not nervous at all! I knew I could trust her with him. She was on time and always provided a thorough report about her visit! I will definitely use her again in the future!

I’ve volunteered socializing semi-ferals, young kittens, and the in between cats that need a little extra time to flourish in their environment. A typical day
While caring for your cat, I will take their lead in how we spend time together. I love getting cats’ energy out while playing with a string toy but I also see the benefit in sitting near a cat to provide company while their humans are away. I like to play music on my phone and talk to more timid cats, and if allowed, I am always down for a cuddle party. we
