Pet care experience
I have always been an animal lover. I’ve been active on Rover since 2015, and I’ve meet so many incredible doggos and hooman friends. I am an experienced dogwalker and petsitter, and I've cared for Rover dogs and cats with all types of health issues. I will not only feed your pets, but I will cuddle with them, walk or run with them, play with them, administer medication (if needed), and love them while you're away. We can arrange a "Meet & Greet" to make sure I am the best fit for your pet-care needs! I will happily email or text you pictures and updates as often as you'd like. I love long walks along the harbor, runs, and playtime at the dog park. :) Why I love dog sitting: I have always loved dogs-- thanks to Sierra, my family's incredibly kid-friendly golden retriever. I began dog sitting (and house-sitting) through Rover in 2015 while I was living in Cambridge, MA. My experience administering medication: I have administered oral medications, topical medications, and injections to dogs and cats. I know that not every dog accepts his or her meds happily, but I will be persistent.

So disappointing. We hired Kathryn to house sit our dog while we went away for four nights only to find out that she never stayed over. We found it weird when we walked into our home that it smelled like dog poop. Sure enough, there it was and it was pretty dry. The guest bedroom is right next to the area where it happened so we questioned as to why she didn’t smell it if she was sleeping 4 feet from it. After reviewing the ring video, we saw her leaving every night and coming back each morning. After asking her about it, we were informed that a more regular client’s dog was sick and she was asked to stay with their dog while they went away for the weekend. This is unacceptable and called double dipping. Needless to say, we got a refund and she is no longer on our list.
Kathryn was great as usual! We never worry about our girls when Kathryn watches them! Thanks again Kathryn!
So so pleasant. Our dog just fell in love with Kathryn from the beginning. She is both genuine and thorough when caring for our cane corso. Kathryn is our dog sitter and No you cannot have her :-)

A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks: My neighborhood is AWESOME for walks. We even have dog-friendly Sharon Park just a few blocks away! Your dog's sleeping arrangement: Whatever the dog prefers! Time I'll spend with your dog: Lots!! I am home full time and truly enjoy the company of dogs, so we will spend time playing in the yard, going for walks, or even just relaxing. My goal is to minimize the stress your dog experiences while you are away, so I will provide as much care and attention as needed to realize that. Time I'll spend with your dog: Lots! I will be very upfront about what my schedule permits, and your dog will always get more attention than promised! I prefer to only take on dogs when I will be able to dedicate my full attention to them! Extra house-sitting services: I will be happy to do all related home security and house-sitting tasks!
