Pet care experience
I've always had a strong connection to animals and have always loved caring for them. When I was a kid we had a chocolate lab mix, who unfortunately past 2 years ago. Over the years I have watched over many dogs of all sizes, ages and breeds for both friends and family and clients alike. I also have experience caring for cats and farm animals. As an animal science graduate I have experience in giving medications and insulin shots too.

Kathryn looked after my dog sparky while I was traveling. She followed my instructions to the letter. Sparky suffered from diabetes so he needed two shots once in the morning and once at night. She was able to give him his shots without any issues. She was great with him even though he was a handful. I would recommend her to any of my friends who need their dogs looked after.

While hosting at my home isn't a service I offer I make sure to remain respectful of clients homes and remain professional at all times. I also keep a spare leash in my car for emergencies.

Any special quirks or needs is great to know! I've given insulin injections in the past and have given oral meds many times. Also its great to know what is your dogs favorite thing, or what they love to do. Some dogs are also more likely to get into trouble, like ripping clothes or drinking out of mugs when you look away.
A typical day
I love to mentally stimulate and play with dogs in all types of ways. I'm very patient with letting dogs smell and investigate and also will make sure to include lots or fun exercise time too.

Availability
Currently I work part-time from home with a flexible work schedule so I can alter my schedule as needed. Its even possible I could work off my laptop too if extended in-home care or socialization is needed.
