Pet care experience
Hey there! My name is Kathryn, I go by Kat, and I’m currently I'm a PhD student in clinical psychology at BU. I've had dogs my entire life of every size and would love to help out with yours! I offer walks, drop-ins and house sitting. And I always update owners with pics and videos of their furry friends. I require one week notice for services so I can arrange for coverage at work. Any doggie rules you have, I will follow! I also don't mind caring for multiple dogs at once. Feel free to text/call if you have any questions. Can't wait to meet you and your canine companion! **DROP IN VISITS/WALKING: depending on how much notice, I could potentially do a before work, after work AND mid-day visit/walk.
Reviews
Kathryn stayed with Arthur, at our house, for two nights while we were on vacation. The stay was just perfect! Arthur was tired when we were back home and it seems he really enjoyed his time together with Kathryn.
Kat was great with our boy, Luke. He liked her from the moment they met. She took careful notes on his usual schedule and fun activities, as well as on our rules for him. Then she showed up when expected and communicated with us throughout her stay (even sending a video of Luke's swim - his favorite activity). Finally, she left the house in such good condition we couldn't even tell she had been here. We would be happy to have Kat come again.
Kathryn is the best! She cared for my 1 year old female Bullmastiff Badu while I was away for 7 days in January. She provided exceptional care especially considering that Badu was recovering from a nasty intestinal parasite when I left and required daily medication and frequent potty breaks throughout the week. Kathryn correctly maintained Badu's daily eating/bathroom schedule without any problems and provided plenty of exercise opportunities for my rambunctious mastiff. Her communication was excellent and she provided daily photos & videos of Badu's activities which left me feeling as ease. I highly recommend hiring Kathryn as your next dog sitter, you won't be disappointed!
Kat has taken care of Pepper, our 1 year old silver lab for a few days. Pepper seemed to have a good time during those : walking to the city, swimming into the Charles River and meeting some other dogs to play. Kat stayed at our appartment and it was super clean when we came back ! We will call her back in the future when needed !

Information Kathryn C. would like to know about your pet
How old is your furry friend? How many walks do they usually have, and how long are these walls typically? How long are they used to being home alone? Any medications I should know about? Do they sleep through the night? Potty training covered? Do they get along with other dogs/children? What toys/items will help when they miss you? What commands do they know, if any? What do you want me to NOT do (isn't it the worst when someone teaches your dog bad habits?), and what is totally fine (food/sleeping arrangements/ furniture, etc). I always take copious notes at meet and greets because whatever you say goes!
