I love all animals and especially dogs. for 15 years I had a Jack Russell terrier and now I have a Havanese puppy who will be helping with the dog sitting. I'm pretty strict on vaccinations and deworming and expect the same from the dogs I will be watching. I am a big fan of bond based training approach. That means no punishment, but reward based education and fun way of teaching them what to do and not to do. My yard is big, but not fenced. Your precious family member is allowed to go in and out through the doggie door as he/she pleases. Of course, I will be present at all times to supervise and be sure that they will stick around. Usually I just take on one dog at a time and he/she will get full attention and love from me and my dog Eddie. Eddie loves to play and we can take on big dogs, however ... they need to be somewhat gentle and not aggressive since he is very fragile and only 6 lbs himself at this point.
