Pet care experience
I’ve been a life long dog owner and lover, and fostered for a local rescue, even driving over a dozen rescues up from Florida to Maine in a minivan. My extensive foster experience really enables me to provide your pet the type of care they need, suited to their personality. I send lots of updates with pics and videos during your our time together so you can be at ease knowing they aren’t just in good hands, but having fun and getting lots of love and attention!

Highly recommend Kathleen for dog boarding services! She has a welcoming and warm energy and was very responsive. My dog has separation anxiety so it can be hard to find a sitter but she was able to accommodate my dogs needs. I especially appreciated her flexibility in my delayed arrival and pick up times. Would definitely hire her again if the opportunity came!
Kathleen was excellent and our Shayna had a great time. Kathleen was very responsive to Shayna's needs and Kathleen had her sitting on her lap right after we left. Lots of great pictures.

I provide lots of love and attention when your pup is in my care. I will provide exercise based on each individual pets needs and activity level. For safety purposes I never let pups in my care off leash unless in a safe enclosed area. Very aware of cues when meeting other dogs.

A typical day
Dog walking is good for the mind body and soul, for the dog and walker alike! I understand that having patience to allow for lots of sniffing is vital to your pooch’s enjoyment on a walk. We love to explore the great outdoors and hike.

My husband and I retired early and became full time RVers. After spending our first 5 summers in Maine we will be spending summer of 2024 in Northern Michigan. (We have a 25 foot motorhome and tow a jeep.). We lost our beloved Princess in winter of 2023 and are taking a break from finding my another pup to rescue us during some extensive travel but still have lots of love to give and enjoy filling the time between with dog sits.
