I am experienced with both puppies and senior dogs as I had my own dog for 17 years. We were together since he was a puppy and that included many years of consistent training. My friends often ask me to care for their dogs as they know how compassionate and responsible I am. When walking a dog, it’s important to be fully present. I know it’s critical to constantly be aware of the surroundings such as other dogs and people, bicycles, and what’s on the ground that your dog may try to eat. I know to keep paws off hot pavement in the summer and ice melt in the winter! I am fortunate to live in a safe, very dog friendly neighborhood in West Cambridge with a fenced-in yard. It’s a very like-minded community with respectful dog owners and friendly neighbors. My yard, combined with the many beautiful paths and parks right outside my door, makes it very easy to give your dog the right amount of exercise and stimulation.
