Kathy was fantastic! She was great with our lab mix and very pleasant to talk to.

After mourning the loss of a beloved family companion, we decided to adopt a very anxiety ridden beagle who requires anxiety meds twice a day. This baby is so precious to me and sadly, the owner where we used to board our previous pet had passed away and we were scheduled for a two week cruise. No family or friends who could help out--what to do? Thank Heavens for Kathy! Our little guy was so well taken care of! Even though I told Kathy we would not have internet access (we later broke down and paid the exorbitant ship internet fees), she sent us a picture first thing every morning. I actually started to look forward to opening my email and seeing how content my little fella was. Kathy is so thorough, sweet and kind. They say animals know and our dog was actually depressed for a couple of days after we returned home. He didn't want to play, he was actually mopey. It was kinda sad and funny at the same time. I think he also bonded with Pedey, Kathy's basset hound who is just adorable. I came home and jumped head first back into the daily grind and forgot to look in the bag that Kathy sent home with Eli. Kathy had packed the cutest little toy with his name tag on it and some treats for Eli. How thoughtful! When I opened it, we let out a collective, "awww..." and my son actually asked, "do you think we're the right family for him?" Lol. Well, we certainly do our best and "best" means choosing the right person to care for him when we're away. If you want excellent, loving, care for your furry friend, then Kathy is the best. Warning: you have to be very secure with yourself because when he/she returns home and goes through a "Kathy" withdrawal, you'll have to realize what a great parent you are to have found such wonderful, loving care for your friend. I can't thank you enough Kathy, You have an amazing gift and now that I am back at work and dreaming of our next vacation, we'll hopefully be seeing you again soon!
