She took my dog on nice walks each day and sent great daily pics!

It’s hard for me to leave a review when it’s not completely in a positive light, but I think it’s important to leave feedback for others when using a service like this one. I actually picked this sitter from reading through reviews on this site to find a good fit. I haven’t left my dog with a new sitter in about 5 years, so I was nervous. The reviews said she was really good at communicated through the whole stay and that made me feel great. This, however, was not the case during my experience. Kathleen was very nice, but I can’t tell you much about the details of my dog’s stay. More times than not, I had to reach out to her to ask how he was doing and sometimes the response took hours. I did get a picture the first morning and few pictures of him standing here or there when I checked in. It was a stressful weekend away for me. I’m a bit of a helicopter mom with my pet, but I think communicating with the owner is part of the service. I’m sure his stay went great, but I have never had a sitter than didn’t communicate little details and give reassurance throughout the stay. When I did get a message, Kathleen was very polite and let me know he was doing great. I’m sure she is a great sitter for a lot of clients, but I just needed more communication and details to feel comfortable on my weekend away. That is why I am sharing my review, so that everyone finds the right sitter for their situation.
