Individualized, attentive, trustworthy care. 35+ years experience of quality dog ownership, also kitties. Personal walks along the lake drive a block away (good weather), at Duck Pond or in a quiet neighborhood otherwise. Guests usually accompany us on car outings if enjoyable for them. Individual attention with (usually) maximum of 2 visitors, unless same family (may add 1 if able). Interesting, fully fenced native plant yard. Our typical walks are 1.6 mi, more or less depending on your request, pet's comfort, bad weather, We have a calm, quiet environment, so if your pet enjoys lots of stimulation and chasing others, a better fit would be a Rover provider home where there are several obliging friends around, and continual activity. My guests do receive much personal attention and interaction; return guests always show their owners they are very happy to return. Excellent ball/toy throwing skills (owner, :-), attention to special needs/requests, Lots of care to become comfortable. I am also an RN and open to special needs of visitors. I do not typically crate. Daily updates My guests may often enjoy a brush, comb or Furminator session. Please note- I cannot accept very large dogs (usually over 45#) or those whose leash manners are not reliable. If they pull and choke I will try walking with a harness (yours), Puppies, young dogs must be reliably housebroken or owner be willing to provide belly bands. ( What happens at home is often a whole new thing in a different environment). We don't use digestible chew sticks/bones due to concerns for choking/swallowing and potential for obstruction. My main goal is to provide a safe, happy visit so owners can truly enjoy their own "away vacay."
