Pet care experience
I love dogs, but do not have one right now. My beloved pet passed away due to a heart condition, and I miss him dearly. I am not ready for another dog right now, but I get my fix by volunteering for Pet Mania, a pet rescue. I walk their dogs as often as I can. I also sit for my daughter's dog whenever I can. I worked as veterinary assistant for close to a year before I went into teaching.

Your dog will be well taken care of! I take them to the park right outside my back door and walk them or take them for a run on the track several times a day. We go for a mile or more. Sometimes we go for a hike to Griffith Park. Your dog will be treated like he or she is my dog, and part of the family.
A typical day
I like to know as much as possible about your dog. How often and how much he or she eats, needs to use the bathroom, etc. Is your dog trained to sit, stay, and come? Is your dog used to sleeping in a crate, bed or just the floor? What kind of sleeper is your dog? Does he or she get along with cats? I keep them comfortable and adapt to what they need. I give them plenty of exercise and attention. I will give them training if they need it.
