Hello...thanks for stopping by. I live about 3 miles from UNC Charlotte in a townhouse...and Love Dogs! We have sidewalks throughout this very nice neighborhood and so it is a great place for walks. I lost my precious Maltese, Teddy in 2016 and I was not ready to be a full time dog owner at that time. So pet sitting has been the perfect fit for me. I have enjoyed having the companionship of a pet again and always sad to see them leave. I am retired and I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule, being home most of the time. I enjoy walking outdoors so your pet will have at least 2 walks a day while staying with me and potty breaks in the back yard as needed. Please Note: I will take medium size dogs up to 25 lbs. based on the breed, age and temperament of the dog. I do not take puppies under one year old. If your pet is crate trained, he will only be in the crate when I am not home or at night if that is his routine. Otherwise he will be free to sit with me on the couch or follow me around the house. Believe me, I enjoy it as much as he does. I look forward to providing loving, dependable and trustworthy care for your special pet.

Kathleen has been wonderful! She emailed several pictures of Mason, along with written updates about Mason, to us while we were on vacation . Kathleen is very personable and Mason seemed to be very comfortable around her. Mason is on a special diet and Kathleen was fine with the idea of his special diet. We will use Kathleen when we need a sitter for Mason in the future.
Gucci had another amazing stay with Kathleen. We are so thankful for the loving care she continues to provide for our fur baby!
Kathleen is an amazing sitter. She treats our fur baby Gucci like he is a part of her family. She is accomodating, kind, gentle and her love of dogs is so apparent! She will always be our favorite and preferred sitter!

A typical day
Some times we play fetch with their favorite toys. If the weather is good we go for short walks in the neighborhood. I prefer using a harness when walking.
