I’m Kathleen let me introduce myself, I’m a mature adult with extensive pet care & home owner experiences. Throughout my life my cats, dogs and other pet family members have meant the world to me and helped me through hard times. I would love to help you provide the best for your pets. I’ve cared for puppies, adult dogs, kittens, cats, fish, hermit crabs, hamsters, chickens, parakeets, and more (Unfortunately I’m allergic to Guinea pigs). For a time I was a foster pet parent For Harford County Humane Society. I understand the importance of responsible pet care and taking care of a home. Keeping pets safe, healthfully fed, exercised, clean, and especially loved. If you should need pet and home care I’ll keep your mail box empty, packages off the doorstep, trash cans in and out for collection etc. Keeping your home occupied, lights on at night, Keeping an eye on weather affects, to avoid damages or theft. I’ll take summary notes to keep you informed about your beloved pet and or your home.

Over the past 15+ years, Kathleen has always been a go to family friend to care for our pets. She is responsible and loving with our fur-children and always goes above and beyond. Knowing she is comfortable administering medicines and adept at monitoring animal behavior is one of the many reasons she's such a wonderful pet-sitter. On top of our heard of cats, my family has also fostered dogs for years, some with a multitude of health and behavioral issues. We never worried leaving them in Kathleen's care and always came back to happy and healthy cats and pups. Kathleen is a caring and compassionate person to animals and humans alike, she loves our pets as her own and I know she'll do the same with any that are under her watch.
My husband and I have been so happy with Kathleen as a dog and house-sitter! For the last 4 or 5 years whenever we go away we have asked her to stay in our home and take care of our three precious angels. We have never had an issue at all. In fact, Kathleen likes to send us photos of the dogs when she is with them, because she knows how we worry. She is great at handling the energetic boxer (3 years old) as well as the aging lab/mix (12) which is no small feat. Highly recommend Kathleen!
Kathleen has cared for a number of my family's dogs (and multiple cats!) over the last several years (15+) and has always been excellent. Our dogs that Kathleen has cared for have ranged in size (lap dogs to shepherds) and aggression levels (perfectly friendly to abused rescues that are very defensive and territorial). Regardless of their size or personality, I know that the dogs have always been in good hands because Kathleen is always willing to put in the time and effort to learn their quirks and let them get comfortable with her. Kathleen's being willing to learn more about the breed, life history, and individual personality of each pet to ensure that she is providing the best, most personalized love and care is one of her best qualities as a pet owner and sitter. Additionally, some of our dogs have needed medicine administered or bandages changed and I know Kathleen always takes great care in making sure everything is done properly. Moreover, I know that Kathleen has had (and rescued!) multiple cats and dogs herself that have all lived happy and long lives full of love.
Kathleen is caring with animals and dependable with scheduling. She treats each dog as an individual and goes the extra mile to make sure the dogs get all the exercise they need that day.
