Pet care experience
Devoted dog owner for 20 years, I am a compassiomate dog care giver who truly loves the company of dogs! I enjoy taking long pack walks in the country. And I take daily hikes with my own dogs. I live in a wooded area so visiting dogs get a real feel for country living. I work in my home so your fur baby would never be left alone, and my dogs love playing with others.

I am so happy that Kathleen was taking care of my dog. She is very friendly and you can tell she loves dogs. My dog had a fun stay and was sad when we were leaving Kathleen's home.
My little fella Smokey loves being looked after by Kathleen. She is a true dog person and is well balanced between being fun and loving but also being in control. She always goes that extra mile and keeps me in the loop with frequent texts and pics that make me smile. It's so nice to get a little photo of Smokey in action while I'm slaving away in front of a hot keyboard. She has some larger dogs herself, all very friendly, and when Smokey goes to stay there he is always so happy. I would absolutely recommend Kathleen to anybody in need of professional and loving doggy care.
Woof-woof, Hi my name is Smokey the dog. I want to say how much I love being walked by Kathleen. I am having trouble writing this because it is hard to reach the keys. I am just a little dog. I love Richard, my human, too, but he works a lot so he depends on Kathleen to be there to give me a little treat and take me out to new and interesting places where there are lots of new smells to be investigated. Oh I think that's her right now. Gotta go now folks, Time for the best part of the day....apart from dinnertime, of course! Woof-woof!
Kathleen is a great sitter! She is utterly dependable and trustworthy and also has a great rapport with animals. I have a very shy and neurotic little dog that can take a long time to warm up to most people. He liked Kathleen instantly and is always excited to see her. He also loves going on walks with her "pack" and comes back all tuckered out. I highly recommend Kathleen for pet sitting and walks!

A typical day
All my walks are in the country, in the beautiful canyon where I live or in the Redwood regional parks right next to my town. There will be a morning walk, mid day play time in the yard and an afternoon or evening walk as well. If your dog is low energy they can snuggle on the couch instead or hang out in the yard.
